Lip Filler Treatment Procedure

We only use HA fillers at Aesthetica Medical. After signing a consent form we apply numbing cream to aid in a comfortable experience. Small amounts of lip filler are injected into the areas where they are required. In total, the procedure will take less than 30 minutes. Both the lip fillers themselves and the needle used are diligently chosen to give the best possible results, comfort levels, and safety.


Aftercare and Follow-up

As with all of our aesthetic treatments, we provide you with comprehensive aftercare information post-treatment. We will do our best to make sure you get the absolute most from your lip fillers. Pre-Treatment

In order for you to achieve excellent results for your lips we will recommend steps to take pre-treatment.  This will include a review of your previous facial treatments and medications you may be taking. Please keep hydrated and arrive at the clinic with your lips free of makeup.


During the Procedure


Please expect to feel a small amount of discomfort during the injections. Many lip fillers contain a small amount of anaesthetic for this purpose, and we offer numbing cream to further aid in comfort.   • ARE LIP FILLER TREATMENTS SAFE?

    Dermal fillers in the lips are generally regarded as a safe procedure. However, there is a risk of complications and side effects, but these are minimised with the use of proper techniques and diligent clinic procedures.

  • WILL I NEED TIME OFF WORK?

    Lip fillers are a straightforward treatment and time off work is rarely needed.

  • HOW MANY ML WILL I NEED?

    This question will be answered during your consultation as a good evaluation of your lips is carried out. Every patient will need a different amount of filler to achieve what they are looking to achieve.

  • HOW OFTEN CAN I HAVE LIP FILLER?

    We advise you have a top-up every 3-6 months if you want to keep the desired look for your lips. This varies from patient to patient but is a good rule of thumb.

  • WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?

    We only have the best quality lip fillers at Aesthetica Medical. Only products fitting certain safety criteria are used. Leading brands such as Teoxane, Juvederm and Perfectha are used.

  • CAN I HAVE FILLERS WHILE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?

    Our policy is that we do not treat pregnant or breastfeeding women. The potential for harm is probably low, but the policy is to err on the safe side.

  • HOW OLD DO YOU NEED TO BE TO HAVE LIP FILLERS?

    All patients must be 18 years old and over. If you look younger than this please bring ID with you.

From Manchester take the A56 towards Chester and Old Trafford.


Driving Directions From the South:

Follow the M6 and take the A556 from junction 19 towards Altrincham and the A56. Aesthetica Medical is around 4 miles North along the A56


Driving Directions From the North

Our Altrincham clinic is around 8 miles South West from Manchester along the A56. Travelling from the North West, the A56 can be accessed from the M60.  If travelling from the North East, pick up the M60, then the M56 West and the A560 towards Timperley.


Arriving By Car: 

Aesthetica Medical in Caspian Road, Altrincham is only 10 miles from central Manchester or 8 miles from the M60. We have ample parking at the clinic.
