The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, improve your healing, and help achieve the best possible results from your treatment.

Steps to Follow After Your Thread Vein Removal 

  • For the first 24 hours, use only water to clean the treated area.
  • Wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup to the treated areas.
  • Apply aloe vera gel to soothe and calm the treated skin.
  • Avoid using actives (such as retinol, tretinoin, or acids) on the treated area for 7 days.

Preventing Further Thread Veins

  • Regularly apply SPF 50 to your skin to prevent future thread veins.
  • Limit sun exposure and avoid using sunbeds.
