The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, improve your healing, and help achieve the best possible results from your treatment.

Things to Avoid After ResurfX Treatment

  • Avoid hot environments and heat (saunas, sunbeds, intense workouts, hot yoga) for at least 7 days afterwards.
  • Avoid swimming pools for the next 48 hours.
  • Apply SPF50 daily.
  • Avoid using active products (such as retinol, tretinoin, acids, hydroquinone) for 5 to 7 days before and after the treatment.

Common Post ResurfX Treatment Effects

You may experience redness, sensitivity, and swelling for up to 48 hours. If you are concerned about any side effects, please contact us immediately.

General Aftercare Instructions

  • Wash your hands before you touch your face for the first 24 hours.
  • Do not put on makeup for 24 hours.
  • Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours.
  • If you experience any redness, swelling, or discomfort, you may apply a cold, clean compress to the affected area for 10-15 minutes at a time, as needed.
  • If you notice any unwanted side effects, contact your practitioner immediately.

Maximizing Your Results

  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Apply Aloe vera gel.
