All the dermal fillers we use contain hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule that exists naturally in almost all living organisms. Dermal fillers are in the form of a soft injectable gel consisting of stabilized, non-animal hyaluronic acid. The gel is tissue-friendly and closely resembles the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the body. It is long-lasting but not permanent. They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles or deep lines, enhance volume in certain areas of the face, and to revitalise the skin with instant results. 

Dermal fillers are generally very safe to use,  as long as they are carried out by an experienced medical professional. Dr Saniyya has several years experience and prides herself in using dermal fillers with excellent safety profiles and has developed specialist techniques to minimise the risk of complications. However, no injectable treatment is completely risk free. All possible complications are discussed in detail in your consultation. Dr Saniyya has received extensive training in dealing with any possible complications; therefore you can be assured to be in safe hands. 

Prior to any dermal filler treatment, a strong numbing cream is applied to the area. The fillers also contain anaesthetic, to ensure the procedure is very comfortable. We use either very fine needles or cannulas (a blunt tube), which further helps reduce any discomfort. At most, you will feel a tiny pin-prick. 

All injectable treatments carry some risk. However we aim to minimise this by using only the best quality fillers with excellent safety profiles and our specialist techniques. The main side effects include swelling, bleeding, bruising, redness and less commonly lumps and infection. These are discussed in detail in the consultation, along with more rare side effects. 

Generally you do not require time off work, as these procedures are minimally invasive with hardly any down time.

A thorough consultation is conducted prior to any treatment. Our doctor will assess your area of concern and then advise on the amount of filler you require. Each face is unique, therefore quantities may vary from person to person. You do not need to decide on the amount of filler prior to your appointment. 

We live by the less is more approach and specialise in natural looking enhancements. Often, patients are worried that they will end up with huge lips after one treatment, and this is absolutely not the case. We only ever inject a maximum of 1ml in one sitting, to prevent lips looking over filled. For patients that would like noticeable volume, we always advise to build them up gradually over several sittings. The best results are always those with small amounts of filler over a gradual period of time. 

Even though we are adding filler, your nose will never look bigger. By refining the nose and improving the angles and shadows, it will naturally appear smaller. This is a highly advanced treatment and requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, an artistic eye and a very precise technique to ensure the best result is achieved. 

This depends on the treatment area and your desired outcome. For lips we advise top ups every 3-6 months for maintenance. However if you have quite small lips and would like to build them up, then you may need regular top ups until your desired look is achieved.  Dermal filler can be injected after two weeks if necessary. For all other treatment areas, this varies and generally top ups are required every 9-12 months.

We only use the highest quality dermal fillers with excellent safety profiles that are produced by leading manufacturers. The brands we commonly use are Teoxane, Juvederm and Perfectha. Each face is unique therefore product choice can vary from person to person. We always assess the area of concern and then advise which type of filler would be most suited to you, based on your individual requirements.

Absolutely! We always conduct a thorough assessment, carefully listening to your concerns and then form a bespoke treatment plan. You can also email across clear photos of your front and side profile for some guidance. 

You must be aged 18 or over. We will strictly not treat anyone below the age of 18 even with parental consent. All clients are required to bring a form of photo ID to their appointment. 

On arrival, you will be asked to fill out a medical consent form, which our doctor will then go through. The treatment area will be carefully assessed and you will have the opportunity to express any concerns and your requirements. We will then work with you to form a bespoke treatment plan. We will only go ahead with treatment if it is safe to do so. Numbing cream will be applied and we will discuss any possible side effects and risks. The different types of filler will also be discussed and we will guide you to which would suit you the most. The consultation takes up most of the appointment time. The actual injecting time is fairly quick. Once the treatment is completed, we will provide you with a detailed after care plan and give you contact details, should you need to contact us.
