The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, to improve your healing, and to help achieve the best possible results from your treatment.

General Guidelines For Polynucleotides Aftercare

  • Avoid hot environments and heat (saunas, sun beds, intense workouts, hot yoga) for at least 7 days afterwards.
  • Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated areas for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid swimming pools for the next 48 hours.
  • Apply SPF50 daily.

Skincare Precautions

  • Avoid using active products (such as retinol, tretinoin, acids, hydroquinone) for 5 to 7 days before and after the treatment.

Potential Side Effects Of Polynucleotides Treatment

You may experience redness, sensitivity, and swelling for up to 48 hours. If you are concerned about any side effects, please contact us.

Hygiene and Lifestyle Recommendations

  • Wash your hands before you touch your face for the first 24 hours.
  • Don’t put on makeup for 24 hours.
  • Don’t drink alcohol for 24 hours.
