Here's what you can expect over the next seven days after undergoing The Perfect Peel treatment. The below is an average patient experience but you may peel earlier or later than the stated estimated timescale.

Day 1

On the first day, you may experience some redness, tightness, and itching as the solution begins to penetrate your skin. Please try not to touch your face and wear no makeup. You will be given full instructions and products to apply to the affected area, if required. Stay out of the sun!

Day 2

By the second day, you may notice that your skin feels tighter. Any irritation you may have experienced will have subsided. You may experience some minor discomfort, such as itching or sensitivity to touch. No sun exposure please, in fact please avoid all week and continue to use a high SPF after your new skin shows.

Day 3

On the third day you may experience some light to moderate flaking. It's essential to continue moisturising your skin to help soothe any discomfort and to prevent dry skin.

Day 4

By day four, you will probably be experiencing some more peeling and flaking. You will start to see your new skin appearing. Your skin tone may be redder than it was.

Day 5

On the fifth day, most, if not all of the peeling will have subsided, and you may experience some dryness or tightness. Continue to moisturise your skin regularly to help alleviate any dryness. Your skin will start to appear more even in tone, and you may start to notice a brighter, more youthful complexion.

Day 6

By the sixth day, you should start to see the full effects of The Perfect Peel treatment, with a clearer, brighter, and more youthful complexion. Any remaining peeling or flaking should be minimal.

Day 7

On the seventh day, you may experience some lingering dryness or tightness, but your skin should appear more radiant and youthful. It's essential to continue to protect your skin from the sun and avoid any harsh products that could irritate your skin. You may continue to see small amounts of peeling for up to 3 days more.
