Initial Consultation
Before undergoing PRP treatment, you will have an initial consultation with our experienced practitioner to discuss your specific needs and concerns. This will help determine if PRP therapy is the right choice for you and create a personalised treatment plan.
Blood Draw and PRP Preparation
On the day of your PRP treatment, our medical professionals will draw a small amount of blood, usually from your arm. The blood will then be placed in a centrifuge, where it will be spun at high speeds to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the other red blood cells and components.
PRP Injection
Once the PRP is prepared the therapist will use a thin needle to inject the PRP into the targeted areas. The injection process is relatively quick and may involve the use of a topical anaesthetic or numbing cream to ensure your comfort.
Post-Treatment Care and Follow-Up
After your PRP treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, or discomfort in the treated area. These side effects are typically temporary and should subside within a few days. Our medical professionals will provide you with post-treatment care instructions and may schedule a follow-up appointment to monitor your progress and ensure optimal results.
